{"id":47,"date":"2024-09-12T18:13:40","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T21:13:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/picard.if.usp.br\/wordpress\/?p=47"},"modified":"2024-09-16T08:55:33","modified_gmt":"2024-09-16T11:55:33","slug":"introducao","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/picard.if.usp.br\/wordpress\/index.php\/2024\/09\/12\/introducao\/","title":{"rendered":"Introdu\u00e7\u00e3o"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A f\u00edsica nuclear \u00e9 uma \u00e1rea da f\u00edsica que estuda o n\u00facleo at\u00f4mico, suas propriedades f\u00edsicas e como se d\u00e1 a intera\u00e7\u00e3o entre eles ou entre seus constituintes. A f\u00edsica nuclear atual tamb\u00e9m engloba aplica\u00e7\u00f5es diversas desse conhecimento em outras \u00e1reas, como energia, medicina, ci\u00eancias espaciais, astrof\u00edsica, etc. A figura 1 mostra um painel sobre as caracter\u00edsticas do n\u00facleo e suas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es. Foi criado pela <em>National Science Division<\/em> e <em>CPEP (the Contemporary Physics Education Project)<\/em> dos EUA como uma ferramenta de educa\u00e7\u00e3o e divulga\u00e7\u00e3o sobre as ci\u00eancias nucleares. Essa defini\u00e7\u00e3o, hoje em dia, principalmente para um aluno de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em f\u00edsica, parece \u00f3bvia. N\u00f3s sabemos h\u00e1 tempo sobre a estrutura b\u00e1sica da mat\u00e9ria, sua divis\u00e3o em \u00e1tomos, constitu\u00eddos de um n\u00facleo, objeto de estudo da f\u00edsica nuclear. Esse n\u00facleo, por sua vez, constitu\u00eddo de pr\u00f3tons e n\u00eautrons, que interagem atrav\u00e9s da for\u00e7a forte residual. Contudo, o caminho trilhado at\u00e9 esse n\u00edvel de compreens\u00e3o foi muito longo, envolvendo o esfor\u00e7o de muitos cientistas ao longo de d\u00e9cadas.<br><br>O objetivo dessa disciplina \u00e9 introduzir o aluno \u00e0 f\u00edsica nuclear. Nessa disciplina sistematizaremos o conhecimento acerca da estrutura e propriedades do n\u00facleo at\u00f4mico. Como a f\u00edsica nuclear \u00e9 uma \u00e1rea na qual grande parte do desenvolvimento se deu de forma emp\u00edrica, aprendendo atrav\u00e9s de experimentos, \u00e9 importante, em algumas situa\u00e7\u00f5es, contextualizar algum fen\u00f4meno sobre o ponto de vista hist\u00f3rico. Isso, contudo, n\u00e3o deve renegar o formalismo a segundo plano. \u00c9 importante perceber a f\u00edsica nuclear como o estudo de um problema espec\u00edfico, um tema: o n\u00facleo at\u00f4mico. Ao contr\u00e1rio de outras grandes \u00e1reas da f\u00edsica, como o eletromagnetismo, mec\u00e2nica qu\u00e2ntica, etc. que podem ter seus conceitos aplicados em sistemas das mais diversas natureza, a f\u00edsica nuclear precisa ser entendida como o avesso dessa id\u00e9ia. Ou seja, o sistema a ser estudado \u00e9 um s\u00f3. Contudo, \u00e9 um sistema qu\u00e2ntico, pelas suas dimens\u00f5es e fenomenologia, e pass\u00edvel de intera\u00e7\u00f5es eletromagn\u00e9ticas, fraca e forte. Al\u00e9m de ser, quase sempre, um sistema de muitos corpos. Nesse caso, o entendimento do n\u00facleo at\u00f4mico requer o uso de ferramentas de muitas \u00e1reas da f\u00edsica. Vamos construir um sistema de unidades muito pr\u00e1tico e f\u00e1cil de ser utilizado em F\u00edsica Nuclear.
